Kim Kardashian is reportedly looking forward to launching her own law firm and challenging the death penalty.
In an interview with Vogue, the 40-year-old KUWTK star and aspiring lawyer made it clear she isn’t going to rest until the death penalty is abolished.
“Abolishing the death penalty is, like, so high up my list,” Kim said.
“And as I have clients that, you know, have gone through close situations like Julius Jones in Oklahoma City that I’m really fighting for. It really makes you stop and just feel that you can’t sit still until they right all of these wrongs.”
As it was revealed, the mother-of-four is currently studying law under the guidance of Van Jones, Jessica Jackson, and Erin Haney for 18 hours per week. She is reportedly also deliberating the option of starting her own law firm.
While the superstar is determined to challenge the death penalty, she will first have to get ready for the California State Bar in 2024. Passing the bar exam would open a pathway to a shift in Kim’s career and allow her to take aim at the death penalty and start her own law firm.
Speaking to Vogue, the 40-year-old also opened up about her thoughts on the end of Keeping Up with the Kardashians following the show’s long run.
“It’s really crazy to look back and just to think 20 seasons. That’s a long time,” she added.
“I think my most emotional time was when we told our crew that we weren’t going to go forward after season 20.
“I think I was also super emotional when my audio girl [Erin Paxton] gave me my mic. She gave me my original mic that I started with and gave every family member – exactly how it was labeled.”
