Kirk Douglas just turned 103 and we are here to take a look back at his life.
He lived a grand life with all the emotions in him and around him.
He had a great career, a beloved family and a long-lasting marriage that he was in with his wife for 60 long years.
In 2015, in an interview with PEOPLE magazine, the actor said that his wife had recorded the message on their answering machine saying Spartacus and she isn’t home right now.
He shared the gems of his life with the magazine along with the collection of his poetries that he called Life Could Be Verse: Reflections on Love, Loss, and What Really Matters.
In the poetries, he talks about his massive and long career as an actor, his 60 years long marriage with his beloved wife Anne Buydens, and his four sons.
He says that all his life has been about poetries and he has tried to record his entire life in poetries as well.
He has grandkids and they call him Pappy. Kirk did not have his father around much and never shared a close relationship with him either.
He says that he kisses his boys on the lips all the time and reminds him that he loves them all the time.
When it came to his phenomenal look for which he even won an Oscar, for Spartacus he says that there was nothing to the attire and he had to walk very carefully.
He had the kind of life we all wish for but only a few are able to get it. To be this blessed a human has to work really hard and he perhaps worked for everything in his life and achieved what he should have.
