The announcement came after he ended his stint in a wellness facility in June where he was treated for alcohol use and stress.

A source told PEOPLE: “Since Kit left the Connecticut wellness centre, he is back in London with Rose.

“The two are enjoying the summer, spending time with family and friends. Kit seems well. And Rose seems happy that he is back in London.”

The source added: “While he was in Connecticut, she was laying low. It seemed their focus was just getting Kit feeling better. And he does look better. Kit and Rose seem happy.”

Harington’s character isn’t an Eternal (a fictional race of humanoids described as an offshoot of the evolutionary process that created sentient life of Earth) but was a former Avenger.

Ikaris was born more than 20,000 years ago in Polaria. He is the son of Eternals Tulayn and Virako.

Gemma Chan will play Sersi while Barry Keoghan will play Druig. The former is thought to be the love interest of Dane.

Harington is most famous for his role in the Game of Thrones which came to an end this year. Even though it was one of the mostly anticipated final seasons, fans were left a little disappointed by its unexpected and rushed ending.

He was last seen in GOT where his character was banished beyond The Wall as punishment for killing Daenerys Targaryen.

Disney also revealed the poster for a Star Wars TV show The Mandalorian and announced the series will air on the forthcoming Disney+ streaming service starting November 12.
