A tiny kitten got trapped between two cement walls in Los Angeles and a team of rescuers saved the kitten.

Gaby Lera and Ernesto Poblano from the LA Animal Services SMART rescued the tiny kitten using a hammer and chisel.

Rescuers broke down a piece of the concrete with a hammer and chisel and rescued the kitten.

The kitten was then taken to the LA Animal Service Centre where it can be seen eating in the video.

A spokesman from SMART, Armando Navarrete said: “It took our staff about 30 minutes to chisel the cement wall then finally reach in and rescue the kitten.”

“He was fine, just had a few crusts around his eyes but nothing wrong medically.”

The video of the rescue was shared online which left people teary-eyed. Internet users thanked the rescuers for saving the tiny kitten.

One wrote: ‘I think my heart just melted… The poor thing’ while another said: ‘Thank you for your help’.

The third one said: ‘Good for the person who rescued this poor cat’.

One said: ‘GOD bless this man, he rescued the kitten safely, right technique to handle the poor kitten’ while another added: ‘Thank god he was there to save the kitten and God bless him’.

‘God bless the man who got the kitten out between to walls, safely’ one user wrote.

‘One of the most beautiful things in the world is to be merciful than in the earth’ one said.

Thanks to the kind rescuers who saved the tiny kitten who was stuck between the walls.

If it was not for them, the kitten could have died. Glad, the kitten is safe now.

We need more people like them who go out of their way to help or save someone.
