Kmart has released a vacuum for kids that actually works.
If you are thinking it is just a toy as it is for children then you are wrong, the vacuum cleaner has real suction so children can actually pick up dirt around the house.
The Australian budget retailer is selling the vacuums for $25. It is a battery-powered product and marketed at children three years old and above. The vacuum has a genuine suction and a realistic ‘whirring’ sound.
Kmart’s website says: “Get your little one excited about doing household chores with this realistic cordless toy vacuum. Vacuum cleaner with real suction to pick up dirt; includes multiple attachments; easy-open dirt compartment and realistic sounds and swirling action.”
After the photos of the vacuum shared online, people were quick to give their opinions about it.
One person wrote: “If this actually works the person who did this deserves a pay rise! Shut up and take my money.”
”I just give them the real one. Get the job done properly,” one man said.
Another user said: ”Dyson has one of these but five times the price with rainbow balls inside it… but I’d still give them the adult Dyson while you can convince them.”
As many playhouse toys are marketed to girls, this product has a boy on the packaging and people praised this idea.
‘I love that there is finally a boy on the packaging of a product like this! Well played, Kmart,’ one woman said.
‘Kmart has a little boy on the box pushing one of the dolls prams also,’ said another.
A third added: ‘I should show my husband… if only there was a box with a grown man on it.’
Many parents say they have already bought the vacuum for their toddlers’ birthdays or as a non-chocolate Easter present.
