Kim Kardashian has given mom Kris Jenner the greatest gift ever.
To celebrate Kris’ 64th birthday, the 39-year-old took her to lunch at their old family home.
Kris broke down in tears as soon as she discovered the surprise in a heartwarming moment that Kim recorded and shared on her social media.
Taking to her Instagram, Kim revealed to her 151 million followers how she kept the secret from her mom to make the moment special for her.
“Today we celebrate my mom,” the KKW Beauty founder wrote in the caption. “Anyone that knows her, knows how sentimental she is.”
Kim invited Kris’ children, her mother MJ, and a number of her close friends to lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
“I sent out invites with a location where we all met,” she explained. “When everyone arrived, I told them I had a surprise and this wasn’t where we would be eating.”
After everyone arrived, the real invitations were handed out to them which read the lunch venue to be the old Kardashian family home.
“Once everyone saw the address for where we would be going tears filled the room,” the mother-of-four said.
As soon as Kris read the address, she broke in tears.
The home was special to Kris because it’s where she spent most of her life with Robert Kardashian, her first husband and the father of her eldest kids.
“All of our memories live here especially with our dad. It’s here each Kardashian child was born and made us who we are,” Kim wrote.
While recording the moment on camera, Kim can be heard saying “disclaimer I did not buy it, I rented it…it’s not for sale.”
Kim made sure to keep every detail right so as to recreate their past memories.
“I remade all of our table settings, decor out of the same fabric and print as the wallpaper,” the SKIMS founder wrote. “We had lunch at the home as if it hadn’t changed and we cried the entire time.”
Kim’s sisters Kourtney Kardashian, 40, and Kylie Jenner, 22, also shared the snaps of the event on their social media accounts.
However, there was more to Kris’ surprise. Kim had “rented every car my parents ever owned” to drive them to the home.
She even recreated Kris’ years’ old license plate, reading ‘2 DIE 4.’ The cake was also made into the style of the iconic license plate.
“The rest were lined up in the driveway of the house exactly how my parents used to have them parked,” Kim wrote.
“This was the best day ever. This was the most special, nostalgic day of my life and we felt my dad’s presence enjoying this day with us!”
All of it was also too much for Kim, who admitted to having broken up at one point. “At the end I went into my old bathroom, closed the door and cried so hard,” she wrote.
Kris’ kids also took to their social media to wish her on the big day, with almost every one of them sharing throwback photos.
“Happy Birthday mama!!!! Today is your day! You are the best mom in the entire world. I don’t know how you do it!” Kim wished her.
“Seriously my love and respect for you grows every single day seeing how you manage to take care of 6 kids, a million grand kids and make everyone feel so loved and special.
“You’ve given us the tools to be the best we can be and have taught us that kindness rules the world! I can’t wait to celebrate you today! I love you so much!”
Poosh founder Kourtney shared a video of Kris, writing: “Happy birthday to the queen of everything (karaoke included).”
Thirty-five-year-old Khloe shared a snap, writing: “Happy beautiful birthday mommy!! We are here to celebrate you daily!!!
“You are a Queen who has raised mini Queens and a young King. That’s a super woman to me!! I only pray I can leave footprints on peoples souls the way you do. I love you so much.
“You’ve been my biggest inspiration for all of the years of my life. Your strength, compassion, love, work ethic, beauty and your incredible generosity is beyond anything else I have witnessed.”
