Coronavirus is affecting several thousands of people, including actors.
The latest actor who has been tested positive for Covid-19 is Kristofer Hivju who has starred in Game of Thrones.
The Norwegian actor shared this news on Instagram in which he reassured his fans that he is in good health.
He greeted everyone through the post first and then regretfully informed that he has been tested positive for coronavirus.
He added that he and his family are self-isolating themselves at their home for as much time as required. He assured that they are in good health and added that he only suffers from mild symptoms of cold.
His post was rather informational and he urged the readers to be extremely careful, keep 1.5 meters of distance from others, wash their hands frequently, go in quarantine, and do everything to contain the virus and prevent it from spreading.
He added that this is specifically necessary as it can severely affect those who are at higher risk, such as people with medical conditions as well as the elderly.
He wrote that if people fight against the fast-spreading disease together, they can avert a crisis at hospitals. He urged his readers to take care of one another, stay healthy, and maintain a safe distance from one another.
He also asked them to visit the Centre for Disease Control’s website of their country and follow all the regulations for staying safe as well as protecting not just oneself, but the entire community.
Kristofer is known for playing the character of Tormund Giantsbane in the popular Game of Thrones series.
He is also set to star in Netflix’s The Witcher’s second season, whose production has been halted amid the Covid-19 outbreak.
The set has received deep-cleaning as an individual tested positive for the virus, who is claimed to be Kristofer.
