Lady Colin Campbell has been known for her outspoken opinions, speaking out on the relationship of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
If she was of a different race, Campbell says that Harry would have never married her if “she was white.”
Markle is using this to her advantage, Campbell claims, because of her outrageous comments during the interview they had with another Australian TV show. When analyzing the video, Campbell says that she “plays the colour card, she gets a free pass to behave as badly and as freely as she would like. She has no boundaries and as long as she plays the color card, it is open season.”
There have been an influx of factors that has been going Markle’s way, which includes using the color card that Lady C claims she is abusing. The color of Markle’s skin is helping her pave her way out of the mess that has been created.
Lady C states that “Meghan’s past was rather too chequered, and Meghan’s personality was very abrasive. [She] is a born complainer, and a drama queen.”
Leila McKinnon, host of the talk show that Lady C was appearing on, asked if she had ever met her at all but she replies: “I’ve not met Meghan and I don’t want to meet Meghan.”
Her comments have been released to the public immediately after she had claimed to have information on the member of the Royal Family who was accused of racism.
During the interview with Oprah Winfrey, there had been rumors about the couple’s unborn son. Meghan goes on and tells Winfrey that a “family” member of the royals commented about “how dark” their unborn son’s skin would be because Markle is not white.
The identity is disclosed due to privacy issues, and Prince Harry would never share the full details of that specific discussion, leaving the Queen and Prince Philip out of it because Oprah had stated it was neither one of them.
Even with these accusations, Lady C knows the person who had made the comment, then insisted that “There were no concerns about Meghan’s colour,” and it was taken out of context.
Lady C continues to give information, telling sources that “[Royal Family member] did not think Harry should marry Meghan Markle and thought that everybody going along with it was making a great mistake.”
Coming from California, Lady C comments on her lifestyle, how Markle is a “cool Californian babe” who believes “all of life’s problems can be solved with a trip to the beach and avocado.”
