Lady Gaga’s beloved French bulldogs, which were taken by thieves who left the dog walker injured, have been returned safely to the Los Angeles Police Department.
According to reports, a woman brought the pooches to the police station around 6 pm on Friday.
Detectives and the singer’s representative confirmed that the dogs were Gustav and Koji.
The woman who reportedly dropped off the French bulldogs seems to be “uninvolved and unassociated” with Wednesday’s attack, said Captain Johnathan Tippett.
It is not clear how the woman found the dogs.
The incredible news came only hours after Lady Gaga called her dog walker Ryan Fischer ‘a hero’ as he was shot and wounded during the kidnapping of her two dogs.
The pop singer took to her social media accounts and said that she would pay $500,000 for the safe return of her dogs.
“My beloved dogs Koji and Gustav were taken in Hollywood two nights ago. My heart is sick and I am praying my family will be whole again with an act of kindness,” she wrote on her Instagram and Twitter accounts.
“I will pay $500,000 for their safe return. Email KojiandGustav@gmail.com to contact us,” she added.
Lady Gaga also praised 30-year-old Fisher, saying: “I continue to love you Ryan Fisher, you risked your life to fight for our family. You’re forever a hero.”
The pooches were kidnapped when Fisher walked them on Wednesday night in a residential area in Hollywood, police said in a statement. He was shot by one of the two men who drove off with Gustav and Koji.
Lady Gaga’s third dog, Miss Asia, managed to escape and was found by police.
