A heart-wrenching picture of an 87 years old man who is on his death bed is going through social media and people cannot stop commenting good wishes as the man is living his one last wish in the picture of having a beer with all three of his sons.
Norbert Schemm, from Appleton, Wisconsin, was suffering from colon cancer and on Wednesday he passed away as he was surrounded by his loved ones.
Adam, the grandson decided to take a picture of his grandpa living his last wish and posted it on social media as he was enjoying his one last beer on his hospital bed in the company of his 3 sons.
Adam wrote “My Grandpa just passed away this morning leaving us all in grief. This is a picture of him from the last time as he only wanted to grab one last beer before he dies with his sons.”
The picture that made it to Twitter and that has been liked 320,000 times and retweeted 30,000 times was first sent to the WhatsApp family group by Norbert’s son Tom.
Looking at the response from people on social media, the family who is suffering from the loss of their father is overwhelmed.
They received comments from a lot of strangers giving them strength, praying for them and sharing the stories of their loss of loved ones.
Adam wrote “My grandpa has been a healthy man over the course of time but colon cancer caught him. On Tuesday night my father said that grandpa wanted to have one last beer so they had it and that is when they clicked the picture. Wednesday morning, he passed away leaving us behind in sadness.”
