A twenty-six-year-old conservative Latina from Woodstock, America announced last week that she will be running for Congress to take on the far-left and lead a new generation of Republicans.
They will be uncompromising and relentless in protecting the freedom guaranteed to Americans by the U.S. Constitution.
Catalina Lauf is a former Trump administration adviser and is running against Democrat Rep. Lauren Underwood in Illinois’ fourteenth Congressional District.
If she wins, she will be the youngest woman to be elected in Congress, smashing the record set by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in 2018.
She said that her father is a small businessman who has worked hard all his life to provide for his family, while, her mother is a legal immigrant who worked hard to escape corruption, poverty, and war in Guatemala.
On being interviewed, Lauf said that she has a profound love for the country and wants to be in politics to ensure that the American Dream remains alive.
On being asked about her views on the President being racist, she said that it is not so and stands with Trump on securing the U.S. border and covering loopholes in the U.S.A.’s broken immigration system.
She accused those on the Left of just tweeting against the President and not doing anything in reality.
Catalina Lauf also said that her Abuelita grew up in Guatemala and had to stop her education in the third grade to provide for her family.
She went to the U.S.A. for a better life, where she and Lauf’s mother worked during the day and learned English in the night to become citizens of the U.S.A.
She added that she is blessed to grow up on Woodstock where community, freedom, hard work, and patriotism are not just ideas but an integral part of people’s life. She noted that these are the pillars of the Republican Party.
