Lea Michele is the heroine and the lead actress from the acclaimed Fox musical-drama series Glee, which has been rocked by turbulence during and after the show’s run regarding its wide span of cast members.
Starting with the mid-show death of the lead actor Cory Monteith back in 2013, Mark Salling’s child porn charges leading to his suicide in 2018, to the tragic drowning of Naya Rivera early this year, the Glee cast was plagued with cast deaths and personal tragedies. However, this year Lea Michele went into a social media hiatus after former cast member accused her of on-set bullying, of which she quickly apologized and then shut her Twitter account all off. However, after her birth of her son Ever Leo, she came back to Instagram on Saturday. The occasion of the day was her 34th birthday, celebrating it with her newborn.
The 34-year-old two-time Golden Globe nominee said: ‘Happy Birthday Mom!’ on her social media post.
Ever Leo’s birth was on August 20, after announcing Lea’s pregnancy back in May. A source told People: ‘Everyone’s happy and healthy, and they’re extremely grateful. He’s been an easy baby so far.
’ She had previously gave away the baby’s name in former post captions, writing: ‘ForEver grateful for this true blessing. ’She has 6.5million Instagram followers, and before Rivera’s death and the whole fiasco regarding her former cast-mates, has openly shared her images of being pregnant. She’d done it by sharing a photo of herself cradling her bump in a blue dress, writing: ‘So grateful’
Howeer, Michele had then tweeted a pro-Black Lives Matter movement.
“George Floyd did not deserve this. This was not an isolated incident and it must end,” she wrote.
Of this, she got a fervently disdained reaction from a former cast member, who made a point that she was clearly being paradoxically insufferable. Michele went into hiatus with these words of apologies back then:“While I don’t remember ever making this specific statement and I have never judged others by their background or color of their skin, that’s not really the point,” Michele wrote in a statement posted to her Instagram page.
“What matters is that I clearly acted in ways which hurt other people.
Whether it was my privileged position and perspective that caused me to be perceived as insensitive or inappropriate at times or whether it was just my immaturity and me just being unnecessarily difficult, I apologize for my behavior and for any pain which I have caused. We all can grow and change and I have definitely used these past several months to reflect on my own shortcomings.
