Yes, there has been progress but the progress has not been smooth in several countries. The world realizes that life is not a never-ending journey because of the epidemics, diseases, and sudden events that kill people.

Meanwhile, the events like terrorism, war, natural disaster and others like these are only likely to kill 0.5% off all the people that die in total around the world.

But the situation of panic is that there are still so many humans who are dying in their youth because of preventable causes and diseases. This story is actually about how people die and how it has transformed over the years.

In 1990, about 46 million people died around the world with multiple causes. The same toll rose to 56 million people in 2017. Over the years comparatively the population had also increased and the life expectancy had increased relatively of all the deaths around the world, non-communicable diseases take 70% of deaths to their name. These diseases develop on their own and kill humans with time.

Other than this, the biggest killer of the human kind is silent heart diseases. Heart strokes, blockages and what not happens to our silly heart. Well every third person die due to cardiovascular disease, so keep your heart safe

Other diseases like diabetes, certain respiratory diseases, and dementia also make it in the top numbers of the list.

The next is preventable diseases that can turn deadly too. In the year 2017, 1.6 million people died due to diarrhea.

While there are countries like China that has 1 in a 1000 infant death ratio, there are a few poor countries where every 1 in 20 children dies soon after birth due to lack of proper health care facilities.

The number of deaths due to road accidents remains similar in all poor and rich countries and it has also not changed much over the years too.
