LeBron James Hired A Taco Truck To Feed Hungry Firefighters Amid California Wildfires


Amid blazing wildfires that have taken over California, American basketball star LeBron James Has shown us just how big his heart is as he tasked a taco truck with feeding hungry firefighters who were battling the flames.

In a news conference, the Lakers’ star expressed his “appreciation and loyalty to the first responders” and commended them for their selfless acts and bravery.

“Those guys, men and women are unbelievable, what they’re doing and their bravery throughout this time,” the 34-year-old said prior to his game at the Staples Center.

He went on to say that things could turn much worse if it wasn’t for first responders putting their lives on the line to save the innocent.

“Finally found a place to accommodate us! Crazy night man! I [pray] for all the families in the area that could be affected by these [fires] now! Pretty please get to safety ASAP,” LeBron wrote on social media after he was evacuated from his L. A. home.

Not only did the basketball player express his gratitude verbally but he also sent over a taco truck to feed the exhausted firefighters.

“Shout out to @KingJames for generously sending over a taco truck to support our LA firefighters, first responders, and law enforcement folks that have been on the front lines fighting the #GettyFire,” Gov. Gavin Newsom praised the NBA legend after his act of kindness.

Joining the admiration was also L. A. Mayor Eric Garcetti who wrote: “Thank you, @KingJames, for generously sending a taco truck to support our @LAFD firefighters, first responders, and partner agencies working to fight the #GettyFire.”

Meanwhile, WWE wrestler John Cena has also spoken out to express his gratitude for first responders and confirmed he had donated $500,000 to help their cause.
