Lego Mocked Elon Musk’s New Cybertruck With ‘Shatterproof’ Toy Truck

Lego has brilliantly trolled Tesla after its new Cybertruck met a humiliating failure while it was being displayed for the first time by Elon Musk.

Sharing their version of a shatterproof vehicle, the toy company tweeted a photo of the toy truck, writing: “The evolution of the truck is here. Guaranteed shatterproof.”

Musk showed the prototype of his new vehicle but things didn’t go as he planned.

Tesla lead designer Franz von Holzhausen was invited onstage by CEO Musk to damage the truck in any way possible.

“You want a truck that’s really tough, not fake tough. You want a truck you can take a sledgehammer to, a truck that won’t scratch, doesn’t dent,” the billionaire told the audience.

Von Holzhausen first hit the vehicle with a sledgehammer and the truck resisted the attack successfully.

But when the designer threw some metal balls at the vehicle’s windows, they shattered, sending shock waves across the people gathered there.

Musk, however, managed to tackle the situation by bringing the funny side of the incident, promising that they’ll fix the issue.

“It didn’t go through. Yeah… we threw wrenches, we threw everything – we even literally threw the kitchen sink at the glass and it didn’t break,” he said. “For some weird reason it broke now, I don’t know why. We’ll fix it in post.”

The fiasco went viral in no time, with people across the globe making fun of the new vehicle.

And as if it wasn’t enough, Lego geared up the trolling action by introducing their toy truck which, the company claims, is shatterproof.

People appreciated Lego’s truck, with one Facebook user writing: “And anyone who has ever stood on a Lego knows that Lego is supernaturally strong.”

Another person said: “You know you screwed up when Lego is throwing shade your way.” A third added: “No windows, no problem.”

If you’re feeling sorry for Musk, he recently revealed on social media that Tesla has already got 200,000 orders for Cybertruck.
