Leonardo DiCaprio Reached Out to People with his Concern for the Amazon Rain Forest


A few days ago, none of us was aware of what was going on in our very own world.

The massacre that had been killing the forest and the animals has now come out to the world after approximately 3 weeks since the disaster started.

Now that the news has come out and we are all aware of the massive fire that is destroying the largest forest of our planet, it is time for us to take action.

Yes, this is true that one man alone cannot save a jungle as massive as Amazon but here is where the power of spreading the word comes out.

With people being concerned around the globe, celebrities are in the same team too as Leonardo DiCaprio, the man who is well known for his philanthropic acts for environment and animal rights have spoken up sharing his concern and explaining what value Amazon forest holds for the ecosystem.

He shared a picture of the massive fire on his Instagram and wrote that about 20% of the world’s oxygen comes from Amazon which means the forest is literally the lungs of the world and the lungs of the world are on fire.

Amazon is home to more than 3 million species of both animals and vegetation.

He urges humans to come together to give a helping hand to save the forest in whatever sense we can by donating to the groups working to save Amazon.

And if we can do nothing, we can always pray for the god to find a cure for the problem.

Since the starting of this year alone, Amazon has seen 74,000 fires which are 84% more than the number the forest had seen in the last year. This is a time of crises and if this is what continues, soon the Amazon forest will only remain as a forest of memory.
