Ella Lennon who is a four years old girl sent a letter to her mother in heaven after four months of her death.
She is delighted to get a reply back to her letter on mother’s day.
Ella lost her mother, Jennifer, because of cancer and she misses her so much that she sent her a letter. She sent an adorable popped up mum in a minion card for her mother.
It was difficult for the girl to spend mother’s day without her mum around her, so she mailed a heartbreaking letter to heaven for her mum.
Surprisingly, she received a reply in less than 48 hours by a thoughtful Royal Mail employee.
Linda Ross who is Jennifer’s sister shared this heartwarming story on her social media with a caption that little Ella sent her mother a mother’s day card on her 1st heavenly Mother’s day.
She also said that it was very kind of an employee from the Royal Mail to reply back as her mother and make Ella so happy.
Linda described that Ella was so excited to see the reply and it was such a heartwarming moment.
It is impressive to see such kind people around and a thank you isn’t enough for them.
It was amazing to see that the reply was appropriate and helpful enough to make her feel her mother’s character and memory.
Linda’s tweet has almost got more than 3,000 retweets and 21,000 likes since she posted it.
Social media users have been feeling emotional after the sweet gesture made by the employee.
A social media user, Janet MacNamara said that the person who sent this letter is so unique and made the little girl so happy.
Another user, Sandra Williams noted that the post office has done a good and Ella must be very happy to get this reply. Margaret O’Neil said that it is the most beautiful thing I ever came across.
Jennifer’s husband, Dean Lennon said that I am happy to see my daughter so glad and I thank that kind-hearted person from the post office as because of her letter my daughter’s face lit up. Kindness goes a long way.
