Young eyes have dreams to run the world.
There is no age to live a dream or to have one. There is a thing about young entrepreneurs.
They all started when they were very young and reached the heights of their success when they were still young. Well, here we have a young boy, just 10 years old, who dreams of running his own airline company and it seems like his dream is big enough.
Obviously being young enough, he needed help so he wrote a letter to the CEO of Qantas Airlines Alan Joyce asking for his advice.
In the letter that Qantas shared, the young boy, Alex Jacquot wrote that he does not only dreams of running an Airline but is already CEO of one and he then asked to be taken seriously for it. He also mentioned the name of his airline in the letter “Oceania Express.”
Alex wrote “I have already started some stuff like what type of planes I’ll need, flight numbers, catering and more,” in the letter which has already gone viral.
He claims that he is all set and is working on establishing his company alongside his Co-founder and Vice CEO of the company who is his friend.
He says that he has already hired a chief financial officer, an IT head and ahead of maintenance. But there are some things that he needs advice on that is what he was seeking from Joyce.
He asked for Joyce’s advice saying he is also planning for A350 planes for Sydney/Melbourne to London flights, just like Qantas but the question that stands in between is how the passengers will be able to get a decently relaxing sleep during their 25 hours journey?
Alex’s efforts did not go unnoticed as the airline replied on Twitter
“Our competitors don’t normally ask us for advice, but when an airline leader reached out, we couldn’t ignore it,”
In his response, Joyce wrote he normally doesn’t give advice to competitors trying to steal business from them but will make an exception as he was “once a young boy who was so curious about flight and all its possibilities.”
