A woman has spoken out and claimed that her own friend banned her from her wedding after seeing how good she looked in her outfit.
Alena is a model from Germany who took to social media to explain that she was uninvited from her close friend’s wedding because she “looked too good.”
As the young lady revealed, the bride had chosen a tan and blue sparkling dress for her to wear on her wedding day. After seeing Alena in the dress she had chosen for her, however, the bride allegedly got jealous of the way she looked and proceeded to ban her from the wedding.
According to Alena, her friend simply uninvited her in fear of being outshined during her wedding instead of choosing a different dress for her.
“My close friend uninvited me to her wedding because she thought I looked too good in the dress she chose for me,” Alena explained in one of her viral clips.
Despite the letdown, Alena got the last laugh as she revealed she “still took some fire pics” in the dazzling dress.
After her post went viral, Alena doubled down on insisting she doesn’t understand why the bride chose to ban her since she was the one who had picked the dress for her in the first place.
The young model has since received loads of support with people telling her the bride should have been proud of her rather than feel intimidated by her good looks.
“Really upsets me. Women should empower each other and we are all beautiful in our own way,” one person wrote.
“As your friend, she should want you to look beautiful. If she was secure and confident, she wouldn’t feel intimidated at her own wedding. So sad,” another added.
The third joked: “I mean, she’s kind of right. You can’t come like that to my wedding and expect me not to run away with you. Like, at that point I’m marrying you.”
