The footage of a lifeguard jumping into the water to save a panicking child went viral as the footage shows the young boy slips out of his inflatable ring into the deep pool and struggling to keep his head above the 6ft deep water.
Nobody around him offered help as they didn’t notice the drowning boy. Somehow, the boy managed to get the attention of a lifeguard standing by the edge of the pool.

The lifeguard immediately jumped into the pool and rescued the boy.
According to Royal Lifeguarding Society for the UK, around 400 people each year needlessly drown in the UK and thousands more suffer injury through near-drowning experiences.
