The fried-chicken chain, KFC, has added four new mouthwatering desserts to its menu.
The additions include two new Krushems in sour cherry and salted caramel flavors and two new ice cream sundaes.
The desserts are available at all the 890 KFC outlets in the U.K. for you to gobble them immediately.
The ‘Sour Cherry Crumble’ has a sour cherry drizzle on top with buttery, crumbly pieces. And the ‘Salted Caramel Waffle’ is full of chewy waffle pieces and a topping of caramel sauce.
The desserts are priced at £2.79 and boast soft-serve ice-cream and an adorable chocolate bow on top. The desserts are loaded with sauces and with every bite, you are sure to taste the savory sauces.
These Krushems cost 80p more than the existing Krushem range because they have ice-cream on top.
KFC wants to give you all and so, they will not stop selling the existing £1.99 Krushems: Skittles Krushem, Oreo Krushem, Maltese Krushem and MilkyBar Krushem.
A serving of the salted caramel Krushem will fetch you 375 calories while the sour cherry one will add 360 calories. It is advised by the NHS guidelines for a man to consume 2,500 calories in a day and 2,000 calories for women. So, they will not be affecting the calorie intake that much.
The other two additions are £1.49 berry top sundae and chocolate sundae to the existing toffee sundae and strawberry sundae. KFC also has mini 99p versions of these.
The £1.49 version of sundaes weighs 170g and has 230 calories while the mini sundaes weigh 95g containing 150 calories.
KFC’S contemporaries, McDonald’s and Burger King, also serve ice-cream in a similar price range. While McDonalds McFlurry ice-cream costs 89p for a 150g portion and 59p for a smaller one, Burger King’s chocolate sundae will cost you 99p for 170g.
Burger King also sells their version of Krushems, Oreo shake, at £2.49 for a shake. The shake contains 570 calories.
