We have all loved the old and frozen city of Narnia when 4 siblings from our world unwillingly find their way to the city.
We all have a memory of that city, the frozen waterfall, the coat wardrobe, the talking animals, the huge army, and the Lion. How can one forget that right?
Well, it looks like you and I are not alone in this as the UK has voted The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe as the most read book in the country by adults.
The book tells the adventure of 4 siblings’ accidentally land up in a lad where the world is completely different from ours. Where humans are nowhere to be found and where animals have a voice.
The city of Narnia has given us memories and inspiration to keep and it is the books that stand on the first posting on the list of most-read books in Britain.
In the top 10 positions of the list, Harry Potter and his books of adventures hold 6 positions with Harry Potter and Philosopher’s Stone stands on the third position with The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown standing on the number second position.
The poll also took the poll for the top writer and it was non-other than JK Rowling as 26% of people picked her up as their favorite author.
The horror specialist Stephen King was up with 24% people voting for him followed by Charles Dickens as he received votes of 18% people who took the poll.
The poll also tells that men are more into olden classics like Lord Of The Flies and Treasure Island, whereas women like newer classics more like The Gone Girl, The Girl on The Train, etc.
