It’s easy for parents to be so taken in by the cuteness of their kids that they forget that their children are not merely adorable playthings but also living creatures who have feelings and personalities of their own.
One other thing about kids is that they are easily bored but can be incredibly possessive of anything that catches their fancy. That’s why there are times that you can buy all the toys your kid can want but be left incredibly frustrated when they set all of those aside after only a few days and starts obsessing over the toy you bought his/her sibling when the kid has a perfectly fine toy already.
However, try to take a kid’s toy away before interest has fully waned and you could be facing an insane tantrum episode that could just ruin the rest of your plans for the day trying to contain.
And this caveat doesn’t just apply to toys but also to food as well as this dad found out in a humorous way.
Of course, he just had to record this event for posterity. The footage starts with the little girl furiously gesticulating and even mouthing incomprehensible words. The reason? Apparently, the dad did not give back her soda and even committed the mortal sin of drinking it.
The dad laughingly tells his little girl that he thought it was his but his little girl won’t be placated. She continues moving around while angrily scolding her dad in that adorable way that only kids can pull off so you actually find it funny rather than offensive. She even looks at her mom several times as if trying to find an ally to address her grievances.
At one point, the girl even hugs her mom’s legs as if physically pleading for mommy to take her side and scold daddy too for his “transgressions.
” And she keeps repeating that the soda was on the table but Daddy took it and never gave it back.
Even the mom saying that it’s because it’s already too late in the day for soda wasn’t enough for the girl to be mollified. In the end, even the dad says, “I don’t think I like her tone,” although he said it in the gentle way that indicates he’s more amused than angry at her confronting him like that.
Well, at least one thing is for sure. He can rest easy knowing that his daughter is going to grow up knowing how to stand up for herself and defend her rights!
