Kids get scared and start feeling helpless when they have left home alone for a longer time. And there have been many unfortunate incidents in the past where the kids have to be a victim of those unfortunate moments.
Kids are unaware of the reality and facts of life which makes them adorable as well as vulnerable at the same time. And this happens the same on March 6 with a little girl from Canyon Country, California who was left behind at her home by her parents.
The little girl got scared and climbed to the ledge of the window of her two stories apartment which is located above the asphalt.
She started leaning against the screens of her window which eventually led the screen to bow. The little girl hardly realized the danger she was in when the neighbors spotted her and informed the authorities.
Helped arrived around 1:45 p.m. who rescued the girl from the ledge of the window. Deputy Sanchez who arrived at the scene right after the call for help said that he was worried about getting the girl back down safely and meanwhile getting in the apartment while waiting under the window.
The situation that worried the rescuers the most was figuring the rescue plan as the girl was leaning against the screen which could have gone down any moment. And the main risk was the cords down below which could have left her fatally injured if she got caught up in it.
Further, the deputy stated that when they tried to get in the apartment and tried to ask the little girl about the whereabouts of her parents, she was left unanswered. Even after multiple attempts to get the girl down from the window, the girl ignored responding to them.
After a few moments, firefighters arrived at the scene and were getting ready with the ladder for climbing up the building that is when the officials managed to gain access to the apartment and pulled the kid away from the screen.
The girl parents were arrested later on the charge of child endangerment with a bail amount of $100,000 each.
