Lizzie, 26-years-old has traveled the world to study wildlife. From the densest forests to deepest oceans, Lizzie has been to many wildlife adventures in a short span of time.
Lizzie made an attempt to showcase how the human relationship with the ocean’s deadliest creatures, sharks have been changing in the pilot episode of Barcoft’s wildlife TV series.
She traveled to the Bahamas for the TV show. Lizzie visited the Bimini islands that have 650,000 kilometers of protected water and a shark sanctuary. The sanctuary was created in 2011.
Lizzies decided to bring the difference in the relationship between humans and sharks when she started doing cage diving with sharks.
Right before the dive, Lizzie told the camera that she can wait to meet them and that she’s more excited than scared. There was only a cage between the sharks and Lizzie so that she can get a close look at each shark.
Sharks are considered the deadliest species on the earth. But Lizzie was shocked to see a spot of a hook in one of the shark’s mouth and realized the impact of fishing on marine creatures.
After the dive, Lizzie shared her experience in the water and her interaction with sharks. She said it was the most incredible thing that she has ever done in her life so far.
She also added that she would love to do it every day if she got a chance. During the dive, she could discover different breeds of sharks that were easily distinctive among the others.
Lizzie said she loved it when she went up close to these sharks and literally touched, and not for a moment, she felt that she was surrounded by the deadliest creature on the earth.
