The biggest loggerhead turtle was once washed up on the shore, and after that, it spent seven months in rehabilitation. After spending the needed amount of time there now, she was being released back into the sea.
The pupil of this turtle was bigger than a silver dollar and was a buff colored. The turtle was so big that the size of her head was almost the same size of a bowling ball and she weighed around 330 pounds.
When she was washed away by the sea on the shore, she was in a very terrible state, and it felt like she was almost dead. She came on the Well fleet beach in Massachusetts.
She was taken to the aquarium, and she spent seven months in rehabilitation to get well before going back to the sea again. While releasing her back to the see more than 100 people gathered around, including the staff from the New England Aquarium to watch her go back and only come near the shore to lay eggs.
People started cheering up when she went inside the sea, and it was such a happy moment to see her return back to where she belongs.
The turtle patrol volunteers first saw her on the shore and thought that it is dead, but when they saw some bubbles coming out, they quickly called more volunteers to lift it and take her to the rehab.
She was in a very terrible state when she came in and was underweight also. Soon after seeing her problems, she was transported to New England’s Aquarium in the animal care unit.
She was kept inside the rehab pool and slowly started recovering from her state. After finally coming to the normal state, it was decided to release her to the sea again.
