A man with a heart of gold, Manuel Franco from Wisconsin, after winning a lottery of approximately $768 million decided to give it back to people just to get their prayers and blessings.
Nicole Domitro, who is a mother, a member of Moody Alumni, and an educationist shares her heart-warming experience on her Facebook post when she encountered Franco at Target while shopping with her friend and daughter.
According to her, although, the world is full of pain and misery there also are people like Franco on this planet Earth who are big-hearted and generous.
The people who are kind-hearted and turn their backs on fame, while working for the betterment of humankind.
Franco turns out to be one of them. Domitro met Franco while she was buying diapers for her baby girl. He came close and told her that he is a lottery winner of Powerball in Milwaukee and that he wants to give a Target gift card of worth $200 to her as a gesture on Mother’s day.
Domitro accepted the gift card from Franco and shared that she was very impressed with this kind gesture of him. Although Domitro is a member of Moody Alumni and Bible study, she admitted that she never saw the world as Franco used to see it. She told that Franco even thanked her for accepting his gift card when he was leaving.
Domitro accepts that she was a bit dubious of all what happened so when she went home she told the whole story to her husband Mike and googled the card details.
She was actually surprised to see that it was all real and she had a balance of $200 in her gift card. She also saw the Powerball lottery details and witnessed Franco receiving the lottery ticket.
Domitro thinks that there are a lot of other families who are more deserving of this gift card than hers. When she received the gift card, she decided to give it away to some particular family which came to her mind and she believes that the Holy Spirit whispered that name into her heart.
