The beautiful lace and satin gown was created by the Queen’s dresser Angela Kelly. But, this is a replica of the original gown.
The original gown that was made in 1841 has now been carefully preserved. It was worn by the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry among others.
Prince Louis’ christening service took place in the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace.
Before christening, Kensington Palace announced the names of the six members selected to be godparents to Kate and William’s son; the Lady Laura Meade, Harry Aubrey-Fletcher, Nicholas Van Cutsem, Guy Pelly, Kate’s pal Hannah Carter – an old classmate from Marlborough College, and the Duchess’ cousin Lucy Middleton.
