With the world struggling to survive through the coronavirus pandemic, the fashion royalty Louis Vuitton becomes the latest fashion brand to join in the parade for help.
Joining hands with British Brand Barbour for the line of production, Louis Vuitton has promised to manufacture about 100,000 masks a week.
Amid coronavirus, the fashion royalty had closed down all of its production sites. But now Louis Vuitton has opened up several of its production sites to manufacture PPE kits on a mass level for the NHS staff working every single minute to save lives.
The news had come out with British heritage label Barbour announcing that the task force of the company is resuming to work as they will make masks out of their clothes to support the local care homes and hospitals against the fight with this massive disease.
NHS staff has already paid their gratitude to the company for making PPE for the North East hospitals as the factories of the brand came back in production.
The company has been working with the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. The brand’s factory in South Tyneside’s Bede Industrial Estate in Jarrow has made PPE disposable gowns in a huge quantity.
The gowns were in navy blue color and arrived in a box packed with Barbour’s brand name with a seal of Louis Vuitton.
Several hospital heads and staff paid their gratitude to the company. The members of staff said that they are grateful for the brands for manufacturing these amazing PPE gowns and masks at the time of need.
Throughout the world, the number of coronavirus patients has crossed all the limits. The governments were not prepared for such a massive outbreak. The health professionals are working every single minute around the globe to help people out of this.
While working, a doctor needs a PPE kit and with extreme use of the same, the stocks have exhausted.
