Lululemon, a Canadian athletic apparel retailer opened its first-ever experiential store on July 11, 2019 in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.
The 20,000-square-foot store has two fitness studios, a meditation space, areas for visitors to sit and work.
“We didn’t want to take ourselves too seriously,” VP of Experiential Retail Maureen Erickson told Delish. “We know our guest—what they need today might look different from what they need tomorrow to live their best life.”
You will get avocado toast, smoothies, and power bowls and everything is made with fresh, in-season produce and there’s plenty of grass-fed meat and non-dairy milk.
Not only this but chocolate-covered bacon on the snack menu; a cheeseburger topped with caramelized onions, applewood smoked bacon, and cheddar cheese, wine, cocktails, and beer are on the menu.
There is a great range of coffee and tea options, Smoothies are made with of-the-moment ingredients like MCT oil, chia seeds, and marine collagen and cost $10.
To attract more customers, the brand will also be organizing special events, movie screenings, concerts, special yoga classes, personal development workshops, flexible open-concept workstations and lounges.
According to CNBC, ”A restaurant called “Fuel” is also on the second level, serving $12 “power bowls” with kale and roasted sweet potatoes, $10 acai-berry smoothies and $8 cups of bone broth.
It also has nitro cold brew coffee and kombucha on tap, with a variety of grab-and-go snack options, including chocolate-covered bacon.
””You can even order a Beyond Meat burger for $13, which comes topped with roasted mushrooms, avocado and sriracha ketchup. Lululemon also has a liquor license to sell beer, wine and a selection of cocktails.”
‘’Customers will be able to wear select Lululemon gear, free of charge, during workout classes to test it before they decide if they want to buy it.’’
