It was also stressed that the former Batman actor, who has been in rehab, believes that Jennifer will be a positive influence on his life. Lopez, 51, does not drink alcohol and stays incredible healthy by frequent exercise and a balanced diet.
The source adds, “she is wonderful for him.”
Lopez has two children – twins Max and Emme, 13. It is said that the pair are slowly getting to know Affleck.
Though Lopez was calling Miami home while previously engaged to Alex Rodriguez, she will now be living full-time in Los Angeles.
“Emme and Max are on board with starting fresh in LA,” says the source.
They will regularly visit Miami to see their father, Marc Anthony.
Ben also has his own children from his former marriage with Jennifer Garner – Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, 9.
The next big milestone for the couple is Lopez’s upcoming 52nd birthday. The pair will be celebrating together.
It is claimed that the pair are not rushing into an engagement or marriage.
They have previously planned to marry in 2003. The wedding was postponed due to ‘excessive media attention’ and a year later the couple called it quits.
They are now on the same page however as a source tells E! News that they are “fully committed to each other” and that it is “meant to be”.
An insider recently said that the couple are in an “amazing place” and that J-Lo has “always had a love for Ben.”
“Back in the day, Ben broke up with J-Lo because he was overwhelmed by the constant media attention and fame that the relationship brought, but now they are in an amazing place and have really learned what works for them as a couple.”
