Madonna would like to have a meeting with the head of the Catholic Church to discuss abortion.
The singer said that Jesus would support the act and view it as a ‘woman’s right to choose’ and not putting an end to human life.
In an interview with Andrew Denton, the singer revealed she would be interested in having a talk with Pope Francis at the Vatican.
“Let’s talk about Jesus’ point of view about women. Let’s talk about it,” Madonna said. “What do you really think he thought of women? And don’t you think Jesus would agree that a woman has the right to choose what to do with her body?”
The 60-year-old was positive that the meeting may eventually happen. “One day he might invite me. I think this one might… I think he would be open to having that conversation with me.”
Madonna also spoke about her views on ageism. “’It would be nice to talk about my work sometimes without having a label put in front of my name,” she expressed.
“A lot of people have a lot of preconceived notions about who I am and they would like to limit me.”
One person commented: “It is possible that Madonna could be the one person his holiness could meet that would either make him drop dead, or laugh out loud.”

Someone else commented: “Did not Jesus tell us to love one another as He has loved us? Also the 10 commandments were very simple, even a child would understand. And why do people presume they can speak to anothers mind, you can only speak yours. If that is your beliefs, own it. Dont presume to bring someone who is not here to agree or disagree. Sheesh.”
