West then sent nearly 400 notes to his customers and asked them to contact him if they need essential items or groceries.

The note read: “If you are at risk & need help getting essentials, let me know. I will do what I can to help.”

West said he delivers mails every day and when he realized his customers are unable to go out to buy basic items, he thought to help them buy those essential items on his way.

He said: “Seeing a lot of my customers putting on suits to just go get stamps I figured if I’m already there, it won’t hurt me to bring what they need.”

Not being able to talk to his customers is the biggest disappointment for West and this is why he had to leave a note and his phone number to ask his customers to ask him for any help they need amid lockdown.
