Mathew Knowles, who is Beyonce’s father, has claimed that he has been diagnosed with male breast cancer.
The 67-year-old father shared this unfortunate news during the interview.
He also said how he wasn’t able to be open about his condition till now, but now it’s time to speak about it. Mathew talks to the host Michael Strahan about the health and a little preview of the show is shared on Twitter.
Mathew used to take care of Beyonce the famous ‘Crazy in Love’ singer and her sister, who is Solange.
He also used to manage Beyonce’s former group, which is known as Destiny’s child before the split happened in 2005.
The little preview clip posted on twitter shows how the family is dealing with the news about Mathew being diagnosed with cancer.
Till now, there is no update or information about the stage of the condition that he is suffering with.
The video is going to run throughout October as it’s the Breast Cancer Awareness month and it’s essential to raise the awareness about such diseases.
The Male Breast Cancer usually happens to the men who are above 60 years old but no matter what it is always healthy to go on health checkups at some intervals.
There are various signs which indicate the symptoms of Breast cancer in men like:
There will be sore nipple or rash that will not go away, a lump in the breast which will be painless, and the nipples will start turning inwards slowly, fluid secretion, small bumps in the armpit and the skin around the nipples will start becoming hard, red and swollen.
It is important to get a check-up done if you find any of these symptoms on your body.
