It has been found that a very cute seal pup has been saved from a place that is really very far from its home.
The seal pup indicated that it was suffering from malnutrition and even exhaustion. The pup behaved in a very strange manner and was found at the port of Njarovik lying at the South-Western Icelandic town.
After being in a very bad condition, it was taken to Reykjavik Zoo which lies in the capital of the country. The pup was then inspected by the vets. The vets claimed that the seal pup is undergoing severe malnutrition and has got an eye infection, too.
The pup was a ringed seal. The ringed seal is a very common seal species and is quite common in the Arctic. The staff at the zoo had been trying their level best to fatten up the mammal. They want the seal pup to be healthy all over again.
The seal pup is really tiny and needs a lot of growth and nourishment. The staff has also decided to leave the pup in the wild after it is recovered completely. They are working really hard for a speedy recovery.
It has also been researched by the famous geographic company that due to the change in climate, it is a bigger threat to a lot of polar bears.
The loss of ice is not only limited to the seal habitats but also the small pups as they might even get separated from their mothers for the rest of their lives. The same tragedy happened with the small pup.
The loss of the ice has resulted in a lot of tragedies and has also created the inability to build a good amount of protection. The loss has also resulted in the morality of the pup.
