This is a terrifying moment a brave scientist let a six-foot Python bite his arm before drawing blood!
Presenter and scientist Adam Thorn from Australia screamed in agony as the reptile sank its fangs deep into his skin.
Adam wore a protective face mask but yelped in pain as the python bit him. His co-host Rob Avella tried his best to pull the serpent away.
The two were filming a new series for the History Channel called ‘Kings of Pain’ which left Adam with a large wound.
Rob tried to pull the python away from Adam’s arm but he was also bitten and required two blood clots squeezed out of his hand.
The daredevil series follows wildlife biologist Adam Thorn and professional animal handler Rob Alleva as they travel around the world and get bitten by dangerous insects and animals.
The two have developed a 30-point pain scale to determine the duration, damage and intensity of the bites to instruct watchers which animals or insects to avoid.
They are following in the footsteps of an insect scientist, Dr. Justin Schmidt, who made a sting pain index for insects in the 1980s.
One internet user commented: “This proves that the human species is the worst of all species. When will humans leave the non-human animals alone? They don’t deserve cruelty nor death, the planet is to share will all animals.”
Another wrote: “One word…..WHY!”
A third said: “This is no different than pitting animals. If an alligator chomps on a person or pet, then that animal is hunted and put down. Fools are going to out in the wild try this, anger or tempt an animal into going after the next similar creature be it a toddler or pet. The whole act is putting animals in danger.”
