Almost everyone has a different idea about their dream house.
While some wish to reside in luxurious mansions, others long for small and cozy bungalows.
And then there are those who ditch each and everything to live in a container house. Yes, a container house.
If you’re finding it hard to believe, let us introduce you to Will Breaux. Will is a designer who came up with the idea of building a house solely from shipping containers.
Will’s container house is located in Houston’s McGowen street. Being built of 11 gigantic containers, Will’s house is the most extensive container home.
At last, he decided to design the house himself. “I began looking at projects that were being built that I liked,” he said.
“After going round and round for months, I eventually had to fire that group because they weren’t willing to give me what I wanted. Thus, the journey to design my own house began around 2011.”
Will himself created the 3D sketch of the structure.
He then spent countless house in learning about how to build a house from containers. It wasn’t an easy task as he had no prior knowledge of the subject.
But he managed to get it done, all thanks to his dedication.
Will’s house is now completely furnished. The structure spans a whopping 2,500 square foot and looks just like how the creative man had imagined it.
