A man has been praised after building a custom-made cart for his disabled dog in order to take the pooch on walks with him.
As Bryan Thompson from Nova Scotia, Canada, explained, he saw a man walking through the snow and dragging a cart with a dog on at a local park.
Curious about what he saw, Bryan talked to the stranger who told him that his dog was suffering from a spinal cord disorder that prevented her from taking walks on her own paws.
For that reason, the loving owner created a special wagon on which he allegedly takes his dog out for a walk each day.
“I told him he was a great person for doing that, because I know there are many who wouldn’t. He just said that she would do the same for him. It’s hard to type this without tearing up,” Thompson wrote in his Facebook post.
In the pictures shared by the stranger who was touched by the dog owner’s actions, the dog is seen wrapped in blankets as her owner is driving her around.
In another adorable case of bonding between a human and a dog, a woman has been applauded after stopping her vehicle to assist a sad-looking pooch who was unable to reach his stuffed pig toy that had fallen over the fence.
As Claire Cummings revealed, she was on the way to visit her friend when she saw a huge dog leaning on the fence of his home and looking down at the toy he accidentally dropped.
“He could have easily jumped over the wall he was leaning on to get it but has obviously been trained very well not to jump over the wall,” she said in an interview with The Dodo.
As the woman explained, she instantly knew what was going on and what she had to do to solve the dog’s issue because she owns a walking business for dogs. And so, Claire stopped her car and picked up the toy before handing it over to the dog.
“We are huge animal lovers and would have hated to have thought that he could be sitting there waiting and nobody would help,” she added.
