May 2019 saw the outbreak of a series of tornadoes in the United States. The destructive weather went on for about two weeks and produced at least 301 tornadoes.
It spanned over multiple states, including Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas, Lowa, and Indiana.
The tornado hit Oklahoma on May 17th. The impact was great. Many roofs got ripped off, and one individual was also reportedly hurt.
May 19th saw the cancellation of all classes and extracurricular activities in schools and colleges. Many people were subsequently reported injured due to this weather.
Amongst all this destruction and pessimism, a video of an Oklahoma man went viral. In the video, Brad Joseph can be seen dancing to the tunes of Usher’s song ‘U Got it Bad’ which was released in 2001.
Brad took to streets to show off his dance moves, wearing the same attire as Usher did in his video. Brad can be seen swaying on the water-filled road.
This video was made by Amanda Faulkenbury, who is Brad’s friend. She shared this video on Facebook, and it took no time for this video to spread like wildfire.
His carefree attitude and positivity soon attracted a lot of people. After all, it is no piece of cake to smile in such circumstances.
The video received an abundance of positive and encouraging comments. People appreciated Brad for how his smile has not faded in such adverse conditions.
His optimism can be seen as a milestone. We hope more and more people watch this video and get encouraged by him.
While we cheer this man’s efforts to uplift spirits, we hope that the affected people soon recover from the situation.
