A man has shared the devastating moment he found out that his son is actually his uncle.
Samir Simpson-Bey took to TikTok and revealed how he discovered his grandfather was having an affair with his girlfriend.
He explained that he and his girlfriend had to stay with his grandfather for some time when they were still struggling.
But it was only when his girlfriend stepped into the shower that he discovered years’ worth of explicit photos and messages between her and his grandfather.
“My grand dad was f***in my girl the whole time we was staying with him,” he wrote in the caption.
“Can’t believe I expected more from a man that had a whole other family around the corner from my granny house.”
His video has been viewed more than 11.6 million times. Simpson-Bey posted follow-up videos explaining the confusing scenario.
“I had fallen on hard times, and my granddad invited me to live with him. All along…they’d been sneaking and freaking and stuff,” he expressed.
According to Newsweek, Simpson-Bey confirmed the infidelity but he still decided to keep the identities of his grandfather and ex-girlfriend anonymous.
“The baby was watching YouTube on her phone while she was in the shower,” Simpson-Bey shared.
But while his ‘son’ was watching videos, his girlfriend’s phone kept receiving alerts and notifications.
“I grabbed the phone and it was texts from my grandfather. I started reading them and that’s how I found out,” he said.
Simpson-Bey told Newsweek that he “told both of them that (I) was hip to what’s been going on.”
“I have mixed emotions about it now,” he continued. “Loyalty is rare.”
His TikTok video has received more than 40,000 comments, with one person saying: “I can’t even get my head around this.”
Another wrote: “I was confused, and now I understand. I want to go back to being confused.”
