A man has come under fire on social media after tricking a family restaurant into cooking and delivering 21 meals to the fake address he provided them with.
According to the reports, the incident took place in Melbourne, Australia, where a struggling restaurant in the Yarra Ranges area received a big order for 21 meals.
After preparing the food and delivering it to the address provided by their presumed customer, the restaurant staff realized they were given the wrong address.
After informing their customer that the address he had provided was not correct, the cruel man responded by saying: “I know. F***heads.”
The restaurant worker then replied: “Thank you for letting a small local struggling business down by doing these kind of inhuman jokes. Blessings.”
At that point, the conversation became even more distressing as the cruel man refused to stop mocking the staff.
“You stupid c***. No one gonna buy your s**t. I have a housewife so I don’t need your f***ing food,” he wrote back in a text.
After the screenshot of the exchange went viral on Reddit, people were quick to back the restaurant and suggest that such ‘pranks’ are unforgivable.
As some users also said, people should learn the difference between honest pranks and cruel acts that hurt other people.
“Irked me that he didn’t say he had a wife, but a housewife, like that’s her whole identity. Feel sorry for her. She probably has to put up with this sort of stupid power game s**t too,” one person wrote.
“I don’t think people quite understand what a prank is vs just being an a**hole,” another one added.
