A generous man has been praised after swapping his first-class seat with the economy seat of an 88-year-old grandmother in order to make her dreams come true.
Jack was on a Virgin Atlantic flight across the ocean when he saw a sweet elderly lady named Violet and decided to offer her his first-class seat.
As flight attendant Amy Leah who saw the entire thing claimed, Jack didn’t cause any commotion or sought attention. He simply took the lady to his seat and went back to the economy class to sit down in her place.
“No fuss, no attention, literally did it out of the kindness of his own heart,” Amy explained in her Facebook post that went viral.
According to the reports, the 88-year-old woman is a retired nurse who was traveling from New York to London to visit her daughter.
As for Jack, he is a simple guy who was traveling in first-class with his family and wanted to do something good for the sweet lady.
“Of the hundreds of flights I’ve operated, I’ve had the pleasure of looking after footballers, supermodels and some Hollywood movie stars but let me tell you about my two favorite passengers EVER! Jack and Violet,” Amy wrote in her post.
“Jack and his family purchased seats in our upper class cabin for a flight home from New York, but when he got onboard, Jack went and found violet in economy and swapped seats with her.
“He then sat on the row of seats directly next to the economy toilets and never made a peep or asked for anything the rest of the flight. No fuss, no attention, literally did it out of the kindness of his own heart, no one asked him too.”
As the flight attendant went on to say, she found out that the 88-year-old long had a dream of traveling in first-class.
“Violet is 88years old, has been a nurse in both the UK and over in America. She travels to New York to see her daughter, but hasn’t been able to for a while because of a knee replacement. Her dream has always been to sit at the front, and Jack made that come true,” she added.
“You should of seen her face, when I tucked her in her bed after supper. She said her daughter won’t believe her, and wanted a ‘selfie’ to prove it, but didn’t have a phone or an email address. These photos are getting sent in the post tomorrow.”
