A man from Germany had horns implanted into his forehead to look like the devil.
He proudly displayed his horns and 480 piercings during the international body art convention as aficionados and tattoo artists from all over the world celebrated on Brussels.
The 3-day event is being held in Tour & Taxis in the heart of the capital city of Belgium.
Rolf Buchholz joined the event and showed off his horns and piercings.
According to the official website of the convention, attendees are often lured by the chance to be tattooed by ‘the world’s finest tattoo artists on the planet.’
Any tattoos finished during the event can also be entered into the award ceremonies of the convention which give prizes in many categories, including Best of Show, Best Healed, and Best Graphic.
It was in 2010 when Buchholz was verified as the world’s most pierced man by the Guinness Book of Records.
If his 278 piercings in his penis, dyed black eyes and more bits of metal attached to his body were not enough to make him stand out, his synthetic horns will surely do the trick.
In an interview with The Daily Star back in 2017, the 60-year-old reassured the public that his 278 piercings in his penis do not negatively influence his sex life.
“It’s not a problem at all,” he said. “I have had the piercings already so long, if there was a problem, I would have got rid of them already long ago.”
One internet user commented: “Mental illness…I am sorry..Nothing about this is normal..Sick.”
Another wrote: “Besides it looking horrible … Wouldn’t it be hard to sleep with all those piercings on your face?”
A third said: “I know that he’d absolutely HATE me for saying this, but it really does seem so sad and pointless. I can see that in his face.”
Someone else added: “I feel very sorry for them. This is not something that you can just return to the store and walk away from.”
