One person on Reddit captioned the video: “When it’s flash flooding outside but ya desperate for some Macca’s.”

Another person on Twitter posted a video filmed from inside the restaurant, captioned: “Son’s friend posted this from inside McDonald’s (she was working there as it flooded) – that guy on the jet ski tried to go through the drive-through to get a drink, lol.”

The country has been destroyed by devastating bushfires, however, heavy rain over the past couple of days has destroyed a third of the fires in New South Wales. Some areas have been in flash flooding because of the torrential rain. The soil has become very dry and compact, the rainfall is less easily absorbed.

Tuggerah, in the Central Coast, has been so severely affected by floods that the roads have become unusable and that is the reason to use a jet ski. The man in the clip does a 360 and sprinkles water through the air and he can be seen having a good time as he giggles. But every person had a different opinion about it as some called his antics ‘amazing’ while others branded him a d***head.’

One person said: “I’d be p***ed if the wake from his Jet-ski pushed water into my car/business/house.”

Another added: “What a d***head.”

One commented: “This is amazing.”

New South Wales Emergency Services Minister David Elliott has slammed the jet skier’s behavior. According to ABC, Mr Elliott said: “That says to me the community is just not taking seriously some of the warnings that have been issued.

“With this sort of boofhead behavior, we’re not going to tolerate it as far as the police are concerned. I would appeal to the community to be very conscious of the fact that drains, rivers and any number of pieces of infrastructure will be challenged over the course of this flood activity and, of course, that’s been made even worse by the king tides.”
