No one knows if he was mad with his coffee being wasted or he just had enough of the thief, Jason went on to strike back, now with a makeshift weapon.

Surveillance cameras show how Jason used a shard of glass from the broken jar to make the culprit run away.

It was Jason’s intelligent thinking that made him use the shard as a weapon without wasting any time.

“When he came from behind…as soon as I turned around he had the gun pointed at me. I tried to make some distance and he was coming at me,” Jason told Sunrise.

The man talked in detail about how the wanna-be thief kept shouting on and on to give him the car keys.

Jason, who had seen a number of crimes on the streets as well as in movies, said he had decided not to give his car up without resistance.

Lesson learned is that instant coffee can be more than just coffee. Keep it with you, if your state doesn’t allow carrying other weapons. Bravo, Jason!
