A 57-year-old man managed to hit the jackpot after he accidentally received the ‘wrong scratchcard.

The man from Michigan was buying items at a BP petrol station at 19440 East 10 Mile Road in Detroit when he decided to try his luck.
But when he purchased a $10 Lucky’s scratchcard, the worker accidentally gave him a $20 ticket.
The mishap turned out to be a blessing in disguise as he scooped the $2 million jackpot!
According to the statement released by Michigan Lottery on July 14, the mystery winner said: “The clerk handed me the $20 ticket by mistake. He offered to exchange it for me but something told me to keep it. I am sure glad I did!”
The Lottery said that the customer wanted to win $1.3 million instead of the $2 million jackpot for years.
Earlier this month, a woman from Sydney bought her first lottery ticket and she had won $50 million!
“You won’t believe this,” she said to lottery officials. “This is the first lottery ticket I’ve ever bought in my life.”
She added: “I’ve never played Oz Lotto before. I walked past the newsagency and thought it would be a bit of fun to enter, so I did.
“I can’t believe it. I’m shaking. I’m shocked, so shocked.”
The woman said she had completely forgotten about the lottery ticket until her friend told her to check it.
“My friend called me just before and said to me ‘I think the newsagency you bought your Oz Lotto ticket from sold the $50 million winning entry’,” she shared. “My heart is beating so hard, I’m pacing around. I feel like I could have a heart attack.”
Speaking about her plans with her winnings, she said: “Honestly, I cannot think straight. I’ll definitely keep working, but oh my goodness, I just don’t know.”
