An upset man has spoken out and claimed he is lucky to be alive after the non-emergency medical transport that he signed up for never showed up.

Speaking of the no-show ride, Tom Randazzo from Greeley, Colorado, explained how he was forced to wait for hours because his medical transport never arrived.
“I’m a mess. I’m a mess. Somebody is going to die and I’m really concerned about that,” Tom said in an interview with Contact7.
As the man added, he has a terminal heart condition which is why he signed up for Non-Emergency Medical Transport service that is being handled by Intellride since September 1.
Just a day after Tom’s no-show ride, his condition began deteriorating and he was forced to call emergency services.
“They came down, took the EKG, saw that I was in full blown a-fib (atrial fibrillation). They saw I was in serious distress. I couldn’t breathe,” he claimed.
As Tom added, he would never have been put in the critical condition and forced to stay in the hospital for days if only the medical transport showed up as promised.
“No question. You can ask any one of the doctors. If I’d have gone down there, this would have been avoided,” he said.
Along with Tom’s complaint, several other patients expressed the same concerns, saying that they were put on hold for hours and that their rides never showed up as well.
“If you’re not going to do the job, let somebody else do it. Because when you don’t do the job, somebody gets hurt. Someone just like me,” Tom said after Intelliride announced they are working on the delays and long waiting lines.
“I cannot sit on this and not tell people that there’s a danger out there. The truth is a funny thing. It’s often cold, often ugly and nobody wants to hear it, but it’s the truth.”
