A heartwarming video of a country singer putting his newborn baby girl to sleep by playing guitar to her has gone viral for all the right reasons.
Parents try a range of techniques to put their babies to sleep. And though the effectiveness of each technique varies from child to child, soothing music is one which works universally for every little soul.
So, it comes as no surprise when musicians, especially the musician dads, take the lead in this Herculean task.
While several such fathers have been seen doing the magic on their babies, one country singer has rightly won the social media.
Comer, the creative dad, tried a new technique to put his newborn daughter to sleep – and it worked more effectively than he had imagined.
Thankfully, the heartwarming moment was shared on the internet for the world to rejoice.
In the footage, the tiny baby can be seen peacefully sleeping on the top of her dad’s guitar as the country singer plays a gentle tune to her.
“My wife asked me to see if I could get our daughter to take a nap today because her and the ladies were busy doing something so we took a nap daddy’s way!!!” the singer wrote on Facebook.
“And it works every time!!”
Since it was uploaded a week ago, Comer’s video has been viewed more than 66 million times by people around the world and has been shared by nearly 1.5 million Facebook users.
Not just Comer, there are plenty of other dads who are skilled in putting their babies to sleep by casting the “slumber magic” on the little souls.
