Subhash Yadav from India went to the Bibiganj market with a friend when they suddenly had an argument.
However, their quarrel led to a very unique challenge: eat 50 eggs and the winner will take Rs 2,000 ($26) home.
Unfortunately, Mr. Yadav just ate his 42nd egg when he collapsed. He was rushed to a hospital and was moved to Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, the Gulf Today reported.
Sadly, doctors couldn’t save his life.
Medics said to reporters that Mr. Yadav passed away from “complications due to overeating dozens of eggs.”
Mr. Yadav’s family didn’t comment on his death.
Earlier this year, another man passed away after eating lizards and poisonous insects during a live stream challenge.
The vlogger named Sun hosted a show on DouYu, which is one of the most popular streaming platforms in China.
According to Xinan Evening News, the 35-year-old wanted to increase his followers by showing a wheel which was marked with odd items, such as mealworms, geckos, lizards, centipedes, and others.
He would spin the wheel and drink or eat whatever item it hit while streaming. However, he ate poisonous geckos and centipede during his last live stream and he passed away.
It was his girlfriend who discovered his body after she went to his house to check on him.
Authorities confirmed that Sun showed no signs of life when he was found unconscious.
DouYu has already removed Sun’s videos.
In February of this year, a mother choked to death after trying to fit as many Jaffa Cakes as she could in her mouth at a party.
