A Pennsylvania man pleaded guilty of hiding fishing hooks in the food of cats so that he can hook them, for the same he was charged for animal cruelty.
27 years old Kenny Rowles, pleaded guilty of being involved in acts that are considered to be animal cruelty.
He pleaded guilty on Monday in Luzerne County and his sentencing will be conducted at the Luzerne County courthouse on December 2.
Kenny was arrested in the month of May on the charges of the aforementioned animal cruelty. It took him months to accept his actions and he finally pleaded guilty to the charges.
As per the report of authorities, they started their investigation in April as they first received a call on the case. They said that they received a call by The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals on April 8.
The call reported that the rescue workers have found a stray cat inside a vacant house as the cat had a fishing hook stuck in its mouth.
The cat was then taken under the care and was treated too but it still has scars.
Around the same time, two more cats were found by the Happy Hearts and Tails Safe Haven Animal Rescue team as they said that the cats had a fishing line hanging out of their mouths.
Whiskers World Cat Rescue than gave a call to the authorities to complain about Kenny as he was bragging in the neighborhood about what he had done to the poor cats.
Kenny said that he used triple fishing hooks to fish cats as he would put meat on the hook and tied the fishing road to his poach so that he can play with the cats.
